Known exhibitions of VITALIS

1958 : VITALIS represents France at the international exhibition of religious paintings at YALE University (USA).

1963 : Exhibition at the ” National Library ” of MANILA (January 10 to 16, 1963) organized by the ” Bayanihan Folk arts association ” and the Embassy of France. All the paintings presented would have been sold on this occasion.

1982 :  VITALIS retrospective in Plestin-les-Grèves (July 13 to August 21) retracing fifty years of career. No publication of a catalog

1985 :  Participation in the international exhibition “Un instant de paix” organized by the Café de la Paix and the Grand Hôtel (place de l’Opéra – PARIS).

1986 :  First retrospective exhibition in the Philippines at the ” Cultural Center of the Philippines – Main Gallery ” (August 1 to 27) in MANILA. 95 paintings, from 1937 to 1986, presented to the public. Great media coverage .

1987 : Exhibition « Galaxies » at the « Metropolitan Museum » of MANILA (Philippines).

2011 : « Vintage VITALIS » exhibition at the « Total Gallery » of the Alliance française in MANILA (Philippines) from March 1 to 31.

2014 : Exhibition “Luminescence” at the “Metropolitan Museum” in MANILA (Philippines) from October 15 to November 30. Exhibition gathering French and Filipino painters who lived in both countries (including Juan LUNA and Macario VITALIS).

2016 : Second retrospective exhibition VITALIS in Plestin-les-Grèves (July 1 to August 31) in Ti-an-Holl. No publication of a catalog.
